A ferry crashed into a dock in Seattle, Washington, USA. Major damage occurred to the ferry and 2 vehicles in it. The U.S. Coast Guard has announced that it has started an investigation into the cause of the accident. Ship traffic in the region was also stopped due to the accident. Washington State Ferries public information officer Ian Sterling said the crew was procedurally tested for drugs and alcohol. Sterling added that the ferry will be out of service for several months.

In Prizren, southern Kosovo, nearly 100 athletes raced down the River Bistrica on truck and tractor tubes as part of the 21st Bunar (Spring) Festival. The competition ended at Stone Bridge in the historic area. Spectators from across Kosovo, Europe, and the Balkans watched the event, which also featured concerts and river clean-up activities.
