The fifth ship carrying 361 passengers, including Turkish citizens and people from various countries, arrived at Taşucu Port in Mersin’s Silifke district after fleeing Israeli attacks in Lebanon. This brings the total number of evacuees to 1,800. Due to closed air routes, many have been evacuated by sea. Passengers completed passport procedures and proceeded to their destinations.

A passenger, Maya Şavki, shared her distress, saying, “We are experiencing very bad things in Lebanon. Bombs are falling, and innocent people are dying. I hope this ends soon.” Other passengers expressed similar concerns about the worsening situation in Lebanon.
