Fifty horseback riders went on a horseback safari in Hürmetçi Marshes in Türkiye’s Kayseri, which is notable for its natural beauty, has a large number of wild horses and is of global importance due to its location on the European, Asian and African bird migration route.
“It was very nice. I have 3 years of horseback riding experience but this was the first time I had such an experience. It makes you feel free. Especially recently, young people have shown great interest in horses. We experienced a scene our ancestors saw during conquests. It would make us happier if this were done a few times a year. Although it was the first time, we completed our mission together with Atabey without any accidents,” said Ekrem Satılmışoğlu, a rider who participated in the safari.
