In Greece, the fight against forest fires continues in different regions. Five villages were evacuated yesterday due to the fire that broke out in the forest area in the Achaea region, located in the west of the capital Athens. Helicopters and firefighting aircrafts were also participated in extinguishing efforts. Around 110 children affected by the smoke in the Panagopoulos region were evacuated from the holiday camp. The Rio-Antirio bridge was also closed to traffic for a while.
