A fire broke out last night at around 23:00 local time in a flat in a 9-story apartment building where approximately 150 people reside in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. The flames surrounded the entire building. According to authorities, 56 people, including children, lost their lives, and 70 others were rescued. Dozens among the rescued were hospitalized due to burns and respiratory diseases. the flames were extinguished after three hours of efforts. The police launched an investigation into the incident.
