A fire broke out on the roof of the wooden restaurant on the grounds of Topkapi Palace, which is located in Turkey’s Istanbul province and was used as the administrative center of the state for 400 years during the Ottoman Empire. While the fire, the cause of which is not yet known, caused panic, firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene and brought the fire under control.
Police teams continue to investigate the incident.
