A fire broke out for an unknown reason at a playground in the Selçuklu Neighborhood of the Aziziye District of Erzurum. The flames, which started in a model airplane in the park, caused heavy smoke and panic. Luckily, no injuries or deaths were reported.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the police.
In Gümüşhane’s Dumanlı Village, 38 nature lovers from GÜDAK took part in a 14-kilometer nature walk along the “Lost Santa Road” through the Santa Ruins. Amid fog, drizzle, bird sounds, and blooming flowers, participants followed stone-paved forest paths past historic churches, fountains, and bridges dating back to the 17th century. Known as “Paradise in the Valley,” the Santa Ruins, with seven neighborhoods of centuries-old architecture, offered a blend of natural beauty and deep-rooted history.
