A fire broke out in a printing warehouse in Moscow, Russia’s capital, reducing an area of approximately 34 thousand square meters to ashes. The fire quickly spread in the warehouse where textbooks and other printing materials used in Russian schools were stored. While many firefighters were sent to the scene, the fire was brought under control after a long struggle.
According to an official statement issued by Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, the total area where the facilities are located is 112 hectares, and 33,800 square meters of the 520 square meter warehouse was completely burned.
