A massive fire broke out in the Vathy refugee camp on the Greek island of Samos. Hundreds of immigrants in the camp were evacuated to an empty area. The Greek Ministry of Immigration stated that the fire broke out in the abandoned barracks to the west of the camp and that the situation is under control. The fire was brought under control with the long efforts of the firefighters.
