A fire broke out at the Markovsky oil and gas refinery in the Irkutsk oblast of Russia, injuring one. Dozens of firefighters and 17 fire extinguishers responded to the fire, which covered 400 square meters of the refinery, according to local officials. The fire was brought under control, Irkutsk Governor Igor Kobzev stated.
The refinery has been operational for 60 years and is operated by Irkutsk, one of the largest oil companies in Russia.
