A fire broke out yesterday in a pallet factory in the Gebze district of Kocaeli province in Türkiye for an unknown reason.
Authorities reported that one worker was injured.
Fire crews who were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of people nearby brought the flames under control in 2 hours.
Following restoration, Ünye Castle in Türkiye’s Black Sea region has drawn 35,000 local and foreign tourists in just two weeks. Reopened with a unique rail-access historical corridor and open six days a week, the site has quickly become a key regional attraction. Officials expect visitor numbers to rise further during the summer.
