A fire broke out yesterday in camp number 13 in Cox’s Bazar city, where more than 1 million Rohingya Muslims, most of whom escaped from military operations in Myanmar, live. The rapidly spreading flames completely reduced at least 230 shelters and 100 structures to ashes and damaged more than 200 shelters. Islam reported that at least 10 people were injured. The fire was brought under control by a large number of fire brigades.
