A fire broke out in an apartment building near the Yamanote train line in Tokyo, Japan’s capital. Thousands of passengers were forced to wait at train stations after train operating company JR announced that all train services on the line would be suspended temporarily as of 08:46.

After the fire was brought under control, the services on the train line, which were found to be free of damage, then returned to normal.

On the other hand, it was announced that no one was killed or injured in the fire in the apartment, and a detailed investigation was launched regarding the incident.
