Fireworks Explode Out of Control at Thai Festival

A fireworks festival in northern Thailand turned perilous when a handmade assembly of thousands of fireworks went haywire and exploded in the sky immediately after being lit. The incident took place in Kalasin province and threatened catastrophe as flames scattered before the device fell into a nearby forest. No injuries or casualties occurred as the mishap unfolded away from the crowd.
