The Dragon spacecraft that will take the team into space as part of the Polaris Dawn mission was successfully launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida with a SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket at 05:23 local time.

The death toll from a US military strike on the Houthi-controlled Ras Issa fuel port in Hudaydah, Yemen, has risen to 33, with at least 80 injured, according to Houthi media.
