While the war between Russia and Ukraine continues since February 24, construction work of a destroyed bridge in Irpin, one of the cities most affected by the bombardments, has been completed. With the reconstruction of the railway bridge connecting Irpin to Kyiv, train service resumed in the city. “Today is the first time a train has arrived at the train station in weeks. I am grateful to the Ukrainian Railways, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, the Head of the Presidential Office and our President for the quick completion of the destroyed bridge’s reintegration,” Irpin Mayor Alexander Markushin said in his statement.
