Hundreds of flamingos were spotted at Gelingüllü Dam in Yozgat, central Türkiye, marking the arrival of spring. The migratory birds gathered in shallow areas of the reservoir, creating striking scenes as they fed and flew in flocks.
The dam, used mainly for agricultural irrigation, has become an important stopover for migratory birds in recent years. Local residents said the flamingos bring unique beauty to the region and are eagerly awaited every spring.
