At least 10 people died due to floods caused by heavy rains yesterday in the city of Bahia Blanca, in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a population of 300,000.
The floodwaters severely damaged many houses, vehicles, roads and trees and caused an electric outage in the port city, forcing thousands to leave their homes.
“After 7 hours of continuous heavy rain, a large part of the city is under water. This is undoubtedly a natural disaster,” said the Bahia Blanca Municipality.
