flooded power station in China’s sichuan leaves 7 dead

Flooding occurred in a building of a power station in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China’s Sichuan Province, killing seven people and trapping two others, local sources reported. A section of a nearby national highway was also cut off, and some buildings and vehicles around the power station were flooded. More than 400 people have been dispatched to rescue the trapped personnel, and 150 people have been evacuated from the area. The search and rescue operation is still ongoing.
