Heavy rainfall across the country in the morning caused flooding in Iraq. Anbar, Zikar, and Diwaniyah all declared public holidays as a result of the bad weather. More than 30 hectares of agricultural land were hit by the hail, which mostly affected the south of the country and resulted in damage of about 1.5 million dollars
A convoy of nine buses carrying nearly 1,000 pro-Palestinian activists, including doctors, has departed Tunisia aiming to reach Gaza’s Rafah crossing. The organizers say it’s a symbolic act to protest Israel’s blockade, not an aid mission. The group will pass through Libya and Egypt, though Cairo has yet to grant passage.
