The flood disaster in the north of Afghanistan causes the death of more people every day. An official from Faryab province stated that at least 47 people died due to floods. He stated that according to initial estimates, 300 houses were destroyed.
“These terrible floods also killed thousands of cattle. They destroyed hundreds of hectares of agricultural land, hundreds of bridges and culverts, and thousands of trees,” said the Ghor province police spokesman.
The total death toll in the country exceeded 400.
