FMs of Ukraine, Poland and the Czech Republic Walk Out Ahead of Lavrov’s speech at OSCE

At the 31st OSCE Ministerial Council in Malta, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, joined by his Polish and Czech counterparts, walked out before Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s speech.

In his address, Sybiha called Russia “the world’s biggest security concern,” accusing Moscow of atrocities, including civilian massacres, kidnappings, and attacks on infrastructure. “My country’s right to exist is not Russia’s legitimate security concern,” Sybiha declared, urging a strong international response to deter Russian aggression.

He criticized Russia’s participation in the OSCE as undermining European cooperation and advocated for Ukraine’s integration into the Euro-Atlantic community, rejecting compromises like “Yalta-2” or “Minsk-3.” Concluding, Sybiha labeled Lavrov a “war criminal” and vowed Ukraine would achieve justice and victory.
