The construction of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge located in Western Turkey continues. It will have the longest main span on a suspension bridge in the world once its completed. Nearly 60 journalists who came to the Ankraj Area in Lapseki Şekerkaya locality got on the boats and went up to the tower in Asian side of the strait. They climbed to a height of 318 meters in two groups with elevators, and examined the work done on site.

Heavy traffic formed at the intersection of the Northern Marmara and Anatolian Highways in Sakarya as holidaymakers headed to their hometowns for Eid al-Adha. Long queues were observed from the air as traffic came to a standstill. Authorities have increased inspections, deploying 649 teams and 3,570 personnel to ensure safety and warn drivers to follow traffic rules.
