A forest fire broke out yesterday at 14:00 in the Yumaklar region of Antalya’s Serik district due to a fallen eclectic pole. Helicopters and land vehicles were sent to the region to extinguish the fire, which spread to an area of 60 hectares.
While the teams were fighting the fire, locals, who evacuated their homes with their animals, also struggled to keep the wild animals alive.
