A forest fire broke out in the Hasanlar neighborhood of the Menemen district in Izmir, Türkiye. Upon notification from citizens, two planes, four helicopters, seven water pumps, two water supply vehicles, and one dozer were dispatched to the region. Authorities reported that the fire was under control and cooling efforts had begun.

“We may not go to Switzerland, but Artvin brings Switzerland to us,” said content creator Sinan Aydın. Photographer Betül Karaca added, “People travel the world for such views—we’re lucky to have them right here.”
