A forest fire broke out on Mount Parnitha, located approximately 20 kilometers north of Athens, the capital of Greece. Authorities stated that 200 firefighters were sent to the area, and the fire was brought under control despite the windy weather.
Officials said that fires broke out in 50 different locations in the country yesterday and called on citizens to stay away from forested areas.
