A forest fire broke out yesterday afternoon on a mountain near the village of Castelnou in the Pyrenees-Orientales region of France. The flames spread to an area of 400 hectares, and 80 locals were evacuated from the village. Firefighting aircraft and ground vehicles and fire crews were sent to the area.
