A forest fire broke out in the Gebze district of Kocaeli, Turkey. A large number of firefighters and medical personnel were dispatched to the scene. Teams arrived at the scene in a short time and started extinguishing efforts. After a while, the intervention continued with helicopters sent to the region.
The fire has been largely contained, an official said.
