Forest fires in two separate areas of Kastamonu’s Araç district in northern Türkiye have been burning for a second day, forcing evacuations in six villages. Flames lit up the night as helicopters and ground crews battled the blazes.
Firefighting teams from several provinces have been dispatched, with operations continuing both on the northern section of the Kastamonu-Karabük highway and near the Karabük border.
