Former Pakistani Prime Minister Khan, who has been in prison since August 5, 2023, was sentenced to 14 years in prison and his wife Bushra Bibi was sentenced to 7 years in prison for selling gifts worth over £190 million that belonged to the state.
The court noted that Imran Khan was also given a fine of 1 million rupees and his wife a fine of 500 thousand rupees. If the fines are not paid, Imran Khan will serve another 6 months in prison, while his wife will serve another 3 months.
