A coach bus carrying 44 people overturned in a ditch in the Genç district of Bingöl province, Türkiye, as the driver lost control of the steering wheel during heavy snowfall, killing 4 people and wounding 32 more.

Upon notification, many health, police, gendarmerie, AFAD and UMKE teams were dispatched to the scene and the injured were taken to hospitals by ambulance and treated.

According to the Bingöl Governor Ahmet Hamdi Usta, 3 of the deceased were trapped under the bus and the other person died in the hospital.
