A 64-year-old woman living alone in the Samut Prakan province of Thailand was attacked by a 4-meter python in her home on Tuesday evening. Noticing the python when it bit her leg while heading to the balcony, the woman tried to catch the deadly animal but started to be slowly strangled by it. After about 2 hours of struggle, her screams were heard by a person passing near the house and rescue teams came to her rescue. It was reported that the woman was in good health and the snake was released back into the forest.

“I tried to call out to my neighbors and anyone nearby, but no one heard me for a long time. I thought I would not survive and that I would be eaten by the snake. Then someone passing by heard me at the last moment,” the woman said.

Arab Tribes Mobilize as Clashes Erupt Again in Syria’s Sweida

0

Clashes between Druze armed groups and Bedouins have reignited in Sweida, southern Syria, prompting Arab tribes from various regions to head toward the area in support of the Bedouins.

Fighting intensified last night following a Druze assault, with convoys of tribesmen advancing in vehicles. Local sources report ongoing clashes west of the city.

The Syrian Interior Ministry stated that government forces have not deployed to Sweida and remain on standard alert. However, an unnamed Israeli official said Israel has agreed to allow limited Syrian government access to the area for 48 hours due to instability.

Despite efforts by Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara to reduce tensions, the violence has escalated, with hundreds reportedly killed.
