More than 150 flood warnings have been issued in the north of England due to the “Franklin Storm” hit UK after Dudley and Eunice storms that effective in last week. Wind speeds have reached 127 kilometers per hour in Capel Curig in Wales this morning, and reached 125 kilometers per hour in Orlock Head in Northern Ireland. Residents of the surrounding houses were evacuated to prevent possible disasters. In England, Yorkshire and Manchester were become the most affected cities by the storm. Authorities in Yorkshire warned people to stay away from rivers, while roads and bridges were closed due to flooding. Also, the North Yorkshire Fire Brigade has started work to save people affected by the flooding.

Meanwhile, Manchester Airport announced that 9 flights were canceled this morning due to the storm and there will be no flights until Friday. In addition to that, Chiltern Railways reported that the train services will be delayed.

On the other hand, Londonderry and Tyrone counties were hardest hit by the flooding in Northern Ireland. In Castlederg, football fields were submerged under water and 3.000 homes were left without electricity.
