The first-ever freestyle aerobatic skiing competition was held at the ski resort on Palandöken Mountain in Erzurum province of Türkiye. Forty freestyle aerobatic skiers coming from various cities of the country performed their best to come first, while enjoying the snow quality at the resort despite the ending season.
“The sport we do involves performing acrobatic moves with ramps and objects, as well as sliding on the track. The more aesthetic moves you make, the higher score you get,” said a competitor.
