A group of farmers in France’s Paris staged a protest against the import of cheap food products ahead of the agricultural fair to be held tomorrow. Claiming that their income was negatively affected by high prices and demanding better wages, fewer restrictions and lower costs, farmers blocked the road leading to the Ministry of Agriculture with their tractors.
French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal had promised farmers that their situation would be reviewed and improved in January and asked them to end the protests.
