Upon the call of the Speaker of the Assembly, Yael Braun-Pivet, the deputies of the French National Assembly held a moment of silence for those who lost their lives in the devastating earthquakes that struck Türkiye and Syria.
Speaking at the session, Yeal Braun-Pivet said: “Many families have become homeless amid the freezing cold as thousands of buildings have collapsed. France is mobilizing with its partners to provide emergency assistance to the people affected by the earthquake. French rescue teams are on the field to participate in the work.”
