French search and rescue teams, who flew to Türkiye to be part of the rescue efforts that were carried out after the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, were greeted with roses by Turkish citizens at the Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris. While some of the rescuers could not hold back their tears after the affection, some said they did not expect to be greeted with such surprise.
The team said that they are too sad s to say anything about their efforts in the disaster zones.
Some of the team’s personnel are continuing their search and rescue work with other teams in Hatay.
