A tornado appeared near a school in the town of Jessieville in Arkansas, USA. Two staff were slightly injured but other personnel and students at the school managed to get in to a safe room. Aside from damaging the roof of the school, the rapidly moving tornado damaged at least 14 houses and uprooted trees in the area.

The storm is now heading toward central Vietnam, with scientists warning that climate change is intensifying such extreme weather events.
