Galatasaray lost 2–0 away to Manchester City in the eighth and final week of the UEFA Champions League group stage. Despite the defeat, the Turkish side finished in the top 24 and qualified for the Round of 16 play-off round.
Galatasaray fashioned several chances in the second half, with shots from Victor Osimhen and attempts involving Barış Alper Yılmaz denied by goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. Manchester City also threatened, but Galatasaray keeper Uğurcan Çakır made key saves to limit the scoreline.
