Gamescom, the world’s largest video game fair, opened its doors to visitors in Cologne, Germany. Besides promotions of new games to be released, seminars and meetings are held in a 230,000-square-meter fair area. This year, a cosplay village will also be created, and awards will be given in the competitions. More than 300,000 visitors are expected to come to the fair, which will last for five days.
A total of 1,220 companies from 63 different countries participate in the event.
