An explosion occurred in the gas tank of a building, where a student dormitory and a bakery are located, in the city of Duhok of the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG). According to the statement made by the Duhok Civil Defense Directorate, 4 died and 33 were injured in the disaster.

Students in the building were placed in hotels.

On last Thursday, 15 people lost their lives and 12 were injured as a result of the explosion of a gas tank used for heating purposes in a house in the city of Sulaymaniyah in the KRG.
