A natural gas pipeline explosion in Malaysia’s Selangor state injured at least 112 people and damaged 49 homes. The blast occurred in Putra Heights, setting off a fire that spread to nearby houses and vehicles. Authorities cut off the gas supply, but flames continued burning for hours. The Putra Heights Mosque was designated as an emergency center. The pipeline, owned by national oil company Petronas, is under investigation as officials assess the damage.
