A gas tube explosion at an apartment in Zhanaozen, Kazakhstan, killed at least three people and eight more were injured. The explosion occurred around 5:00 a.m. local time and caused the building, which housed 12 flats, to collapse.
A rescue team of 50 people, including police, soldiers, and many volunteers, continues their search and rescue efforts to save those who are still trapped under the rubble.
