Gaza Strip: Total Death Toll Surpasses 72,000

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the total death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 72,333 since the conflict began on October 7, 2023. Over the past 24 hours, four additional casualties and ten newly injured individuals were brought to local hospitals following recent Israeli strikes. Authorities report that the overall number of wounded in the besieged territory currently stands at 172,202. Despite a ceasefire agreement established on October 10, 2025, sporadic violence in the enclave has resulted in 754 subsequent deaths and 2,100 injuries over the past several months.
