German drivers head towards Czechia for affordable fuel price

After rising fuel prices in Europe, drivers flock to neighboring countries that offer more affordable fuel. Struggling with high fuel prices, the Germans continue to head towards Czechia. Drivers from the states of Saxony and Bavaria, which border Germany with the Czech Republic, cause long queues on weekends. Germans, who make a profit of 43 cents per liter, also meet some of their needs from Czech markets. While 1 liter of Natural 95 gasoline is sold for 1.80 euros in the city of Hof, located in the Bavarian state of Germany, 1 liter of the same gasoline is sold for 1.37 euros at the gas stations in Cheb, Czech Republic, which is about 55 kilometers away from Hof. Germans save 43 cents per liter, with savings ranging from 20 euros to 30 euros per tank.
