The German search and rescue team returned to Germany after participating in earthquake relief efforts in Türkiye’s Kahramanmaraş. They were greeted with flowers at Frankfurt Airport by Türkiye’s Frankfurt Consul General and other officials. INSARAG Team Chief Johannes Gust stated that the team saved 5 earthquake victims, including a mother and child trapped under rubble for 20 hours.
