Giant cruise ship “Regal Princess” anchored in Istanbul

With the decrease in the number of cases in the Covid-19 pandemic, cruise ship services started again. With increasing voyages, giant cruise ships continue to anchor in Turkish ports one after another. One of the largest cruise ships in the world, Bermuda-flagged “Regal Princess” visited Istanbul, Turkey. With a length of 330 meters, Regal Princess anchored in Galataport Port in Istanbul with its 2,460 passengers. Meanwhile, the ship offered its passengers the pleasure of open air cinema with a view of the Bosphorus. Those moments were captured from the air with a drone camera. Later on, the ship departed from Galataport Port and set out for Mykanos Port in Greece.

On the other hand, the ship has a weight of 141 thousand gross tons and a passenger capacity of 3,560. In addition to its gigantic size, 81 percent of the rooms of the ultra-luxury ship have balconies, and the shopping center, indoor and outdoor movie theaters are among the ship’s remarkable details.
