The first train loaded with grain departed from the city of Melitopol in the Zaporizhia region of Ukraine, which is under the control of Russia. “I am proud and happy to report that 11 wagons loaded with grain are on their way from Melitopol to Crimea. It can be predicted that these deliveries will increase hundreds of times in the near future,” a Russian official said, adding that they have made master contracts with Turkey. “We hope that the grain-laden trains will pass through the Crimea and reach the Middle East,” the official said.

Russia carried out one of its largest attacks on Kiev since the war began, damaging seven districts and injuring four people. In Odessa, two people were killed and nine wounded after strikes hit homes and a maternity hospital.
President Zelenskyy said Russia used 315 drones—250 of them Shahed UAVs—and seven missiles, including North Korean-made ballistic missiles. Ukraine shot down 277 drones.
Zelenskyy urged allies to act, while Kyiv demanded more air defense systems and fresh sanctions on Moscow.
