Gunfire Erupts as Syria Launches Operations Against SDF in Aleppo

Heavy gunfire and explosions were reported across Aleppo after the Syrian army launched targeted operations against Syrian Democratic Forces positions in the Ashrafiyeh, Sheikh Maqsoud, and Beni Zeid neighborhoods. Authorities declared a curfew in the affected areas as rockets and mortar shells were seen in the sky. The Syrian government said the operation against SDF positions will continue without interruption.
