World-famous Europe’s first and only female artificial heart surgeon, Doctor Dilek Gürsoy of Turkish origin, met with health vocational high school students from Turkey who came to Germany for internship with Erasmus. At the meeting at the ‘HHK’ Patient Care institution, owned by İlhan Bükrücü, a business person of Turkish origin operating in the field of patient care services in Germany, the students asked questions to Gürsoy. Expressing that she was happy and excited to meet students from Turkey, Dr. Dilek Gürsoy said, “I am very happy to be here. I did not expect this much. Here, we have brilliant students. I enjoyed chatting with them and supporting them. I saw that they are willing to work, which is very important. Whatever you do, you must do your job with love so that you can continue it for a lifetime. I saw this with the students here. You have to work, whether you are in Europe or in Turkey. Whatever you are, these things are achieved by working with determination.”

At the end of the program, a plaque and flowers were presented to Dr. Gürsoy on behalf of the HHK institution.
